Why do we want to have fun?

I will start...

I started this project for fun. Everyone likes to have fun and the same people usually have different ways to have fun. Human beings are a social species that relies on cooperation to survive and thrive. We are wired to connect and our social behavior is a critical part of our adaptive toolkit. It allows us to come together, have fun or do things that we wouldn’t be able to do on our own. We’re uncovering how these mechanisms may operate in real world activities, and why attending events together is exciting. Why some people experience the FOMO (Fear of missing out) while others don't care.

This is a social project to know more about what motivates, inspires, drives human participation to different kind of events. Why sometimes we are having the best time of our life and other times we are bored. What drives us to do 'crazy' stuff, follow the mass, join the party, pay for an event, follow a passion, welcome novelties, attend same conference every year, lead unexplored ways or just dance together in a stadium.
